Whenever I drink beer or other beverages whose bottles have crown corks I collect them because some are way to cool to throw away! During this year I collected so many of them, that I didn’t know where to store them anymore. But then my friend came up with the idea of somehow bringing them back to their roots: As the fridge is the best place for a cold drink, we thought the crown corks would make for perfect fridge magnets.

This is What You Need:

  • Crown corks
  • (small) magnets
  • Modelling compound or silicone

This is How You Do it:

  1. Fill the crown corks with modelling compound.
  2. Press the magnet in it.
  3. Let it dry.

It doesn’t get any easier, does it? Now you can pin them on your fridge in order to display your most favourite photos, postcards or a shopping list. Isn’t that a great idea to use crown corks? But beware: If you’re having those lovely fridge magnets, you might catch yourself going to the fridge more often … 😉
